中规中矩的传记，倒是方便以后认画了。对于Sargent的critic很搞笑，说他肖像画只画有钱而美丽的人，可是别人掏钱雇他画像，这样做大概也应该吧。而他后来决定不再画肖像画，则又被人骂说丢了自己的饭碗。人的嘴真是堵不完的。
